By accessing or using DJ Connex's website, mobile applications, or any other services offered by DJ Connex (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DJ Connex regarding your use of the Services. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
DJ Connex provides a platform that connects DJs with clients seeking to book DJ services for events. Our Services include, but are not limited to:
DJ Connex reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services without liability.
To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and to update this information to maintain its accuracy.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify DJ Connex of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
DJ Connex reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during registration or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, false, or misleading, or if you fail to comply with these Terms.
DJ Connex charges fees for certain aspects of the Services. These fees may include, but are not limited to, subscription fees for DJs, booking fees for clients, and payment processing fees. All fees are specified on our website or within the Services.
You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your use of the Services on the terms and at the rates in effect when the charges are incurred. We may change our fees and charges at any time by posting the changes on the website or within the Services.
All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method and agree to have the payment method charged for the fees.
For bookings, DJ Connex typically holds payment in escrow until the event has been completed successfully. Our refund policy for cancellations and disputes is detailed in our Booking Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

For DJs, you are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information, your availability calendar, and fulfilling your bookings as agreed upon with clients. For clients, you are responsible for providing accurate event details and adhering to the terms of your booking agreements with DJs.
The Services and all content and materials available through the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software, are the property of DJ Connex or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
DJ Connex grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from the Services without the prior written consent of DJ Connex.
By submitting content to the Services (such as DJ profiles, photos, or reviews), you grant DJ Connex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
DJ Connex disclaims all warranties regarding the reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, or availability of the Services. DJ Connex does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components.
IN NO EVENT SHALL DJ CONNEX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
DJ Connex acts as an intermediary between DJs and clients and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of DJs or clients. Any disputes between DJs and clients should be resolved directly between the parties involved.
You may terminate your account at any time by following the instructions on our website or by contacting us. DJ Connex also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services or your account at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in San Francisco, California.
You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco, California for the purpose of litigating all such claims.
DJ Connex reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
